ABC Motsepe National Play Offs

The ABC Motsepe National Play Offs marks the end of the SAFA ABC Motsepe League season which currently operates as the overall third tier of South African football. During it’s season, the league features 144 teams which are divided into nine divisions located within the nine geo-political provinces of South Africa.

The winner of each provincial division comprising of 16 teams advances to the ABC Motsepe National Play Offs to compete for the two available spots in the National First Division.

The public draw of the ABC Motsepe National Play Offs is conducted by SAFA and the ABC Motsepe foundation to determine the two groups and fixtures which are played over a week-long period.

The top two finishers from the two groups advance to the finals and gain automatic promotion to the National First Division (NFD). Winners of the finals walk away with R1-Million with the losing finalists receiving R500 000.
