27 June 2023 – The official draw for the inaugural SAFA U15 Technical Development Scheme (TDS), was held at SAFA House this morning, with some entertaining matches scheduled for the weekend long tournament on 8 -9 July 2023.
The U15 TDS Interprovincial tournament is a new initiation by SAFA Technical Director Walter Steenbok, where the aim of the tournament is to select the first batch of U15 National Team players for the SAFA Academy.
These players will develop together and become the next generation of the South African U17 Men’s National Team in 2025.
Nine provincial teams will play against the following academies (Kaizer Chiefs, KZN Academy, Mamelodi Sundown, SuperSport United, School of Excellence and the Pitso Mosamine Schools Academy).
