13 October 2023 – The South African Football Association’s (SAFA) Finance Committee has distanced itself from claims that media company FarPost has been appointed to run the Association’s website.
SAFA Finance Committee chairman Mxolisi Sibam said the reports are completely false and he wishes to set the record straight around the matter.
“SAFA CEO Lydia Monyepao is the head of administration and all contracts are signed by her, and no one else,” said Sibam.
“There was no such contract presented to the Finance Committee for recommendation to the CEO for her signature.”
