21 September 2019 – The South African U-17 Women’s National Team (Bantwana), opens their COSAFA U17 Women’s Championships against Seychelles this afternoon at Francois Xavier Stadium in Port Louis, Mauritius.
Bantwana Head Coach Simphiwe Dludlu has names her starting eleven and will be looking for maximum results to celebrate her birthday on this special day.
Karabo Mohale will earn her first cap and will be looking to keep a clean sheet in between the goalposts, while Philisani Hlela and Yolanda Nduli will play at right and left back respectively.
Shakira O’Malley and Nkateko Nkhuna will partner at centre back.
Nelly Gamede and Sonika Mzingeli will anchor the midfield with the help of Tiyana Carollissen in right wing and Nabeelah Galant at left wing.
Bantwana captain Jessica Wade will play just behind the lone striker Oyisa Marhazi.
