There were some interesting results in week 24 on Heritage day, which affected both ends of the table with four games to go.

Harmony took advantage of Bubchu’s stumble and moved up to second spot as they registered a 2-1 win over Central University.

Harmony’s title credentials will be tested in week 25 when they take on fourth place Mangaung Unite, who only sit seven points behind Eagles.

The relegation battle continues to heat up between the bottom three clubs with just a few games to go.

Dla 2 FC boosted their hopes of survival by defeating Dikwena United 4-3 to move four points clear of Dinonyana FC, who were humbled 3-1 by Bloemfontein Young Tigers.

Bottom place Lijabatho moved level on points with Dinonyana after they secured a point at the Platberg Stadium, drawing 1-1 with Tshiame All Stars.
