Amajimbos striker Khanyisa Mayo says the boys are eager to play as many matches as possible as they prepare for the 2015 FIFA World Cup.

“We are soccer players and playing is what we do, we are hungry for more matches and we want to test ourselves against any and every opposition we can get,” says Mayo. “The technical team has been working on us all week long and we want to implement all these new aspects of our game in a real game situation.”

Amajimbos will play their first of three friendly practice matches in KwaZulu Natal against ABC Motsepe League side Kings United on Saturday 4 July 2015 at the Anderson Park, in Pinetown at 14:00 before heading down to Durban to continue their preparations for the much anticipated U17 FIFA World Cup later this year.

The South African u17 National team will play two more matches in Durban next week on Wednesday 8 July and Saturday 11 July, details will be communicated on safa.net.
