Mxolisi Sibam graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Commerce (Bcom) majoring in accounting and a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting (PGDA) from Rhodes University. He also holds a Certificates in Corporate Governance from the University of Johannesburg and in Project Management from Rhodes University.
Mxolisi is an associate member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) and a member of the Institute of Directors in Southern Africa (IoD). He has extensive experience in financial reporting, auditing, financial management, taxation, corporate governance, project management and business advisory services.
His working experience includes working for major international entities in telecommunication, automotive sector, auditing, financial management and higher education.
Mxolisi’s speciality in corporate governance includes to have served and chaired numerous boards of directors, audit and risk committees and performance audit committees.
Mxolisi is currently the managing director of his owner managed firms that specialises in financial management, business advisory and investments. Mxolisi is the President of SAFA Buffalo City, NEC member of SAFA and Deputy-Chair of the SAFA Audit and Risk Committee.
