15 May 2023 – Week 13 of the Hollywoodbets Super League produced some beautiful football and a total of 22 goals as Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies went back to leading the pack after beating the University of the Western Cape in the main clash of the weekend.
The majority of the goals were scored on Saturday (13 May 2023), where Royal AM were the biggest winners of the day after beating the University of Johannesburg 5-0.
The Limpopo derby produced fireworks as Copperbelt Ladies went down 2-0 to neighbours First Touch F.C, while TS Galaxy earned themselves three points against Ma-indies Ladies out in Giyani after beating them 4-0.
Durban Ladies returned home with all three points after beating City Lads 2-0 in Gqeberha while Richmond United lost their second consecutive match as they went down 2-1 to the University of Pretoria in De Aar.
Another university outfit managed to gain three points over the weekend as Tshwane University of Technology beat Thunderbirds 1-0 in East London.
Pretoria was abuzz on Sunday 14 May 2023, as we celebrated Mother’s Day in style. JVW Ladies beat Coal City Wizards 2-0 in the opening match of the day, while Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies earned themselves bragging rights and over the University of the Western Cape, after beating them 3-0 in the main match of the weekend.
