Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies continued their dominance of the league with a 3-2 victory over JVW Ladies, to remain top of the log, while the KZN derby saw Royal AM walking away with the bragging rights over Durban Ladies, after beating them 3-1 in a very exciting match out in Clermont, Durban.
The University of the Western Cape gave the University of Pretoria a football lesson out in Cape Town, as they thrashed the newly promoted side 3-0.
Coal City Wizards fought hard against Tshwane University of Technology in Witbank to get their second win of the season after beating TUT 2-1. MaIndies Ladies also managed to earn themselves their second win of the season as they beat City Lads 3-0 out in Giyani.
The action continued on Sunday (23 April 2023) with three matches, with two of them live on SABC Sport from Polokwane. Thunderbirds Ladies beat Copperbelt 1-0 in the first match of the day at 11h30 at the Oscar Mpetha Stadium, while Richmond United hammered First Touch FC 3 -0 in the later encounter of the day
TS Galaxy Queens managed to pull one over the University of Johannesburg at the Solomon Mahlangu Stadium as they won that encounter 2-1.
