13 March 2023 – SAFA Ekurhuleni Region is hosting the D License Coaching Course and the ground-breaking programme is being attended by some big names from across the country.
Among the prominent individuals attending the course are Mamelodi Sundowns chairman, Tlhopane Motsepe and Supersport United coach Gavin Hunt’s daughter Kaitlin Hunt.
The coaching course kicked off last Saturday (11 March 2023) and according to Ekurhuleni SAFA President Job Mchunu, the programme will run over weekends to accommodate individuals who are fully employed elsewhere.
‘’We thought to accommodate those who are employed full time elsewhere, that we run this course only on weekends,’’ said Mchunu.
The next session after this weekend will be on 18-19-21 then the 24-25 March with the closing date being 1 April.
A total of 37 coaching aspirants are attending the course which is being run at Germiston Stadium on the East Rand.
Jose De Oliveira and Simon Tshowa both renowned CAF instructors are conducting the course.
