19 October 2022 – Tuks Ladies from Gauteng were the first team to book a spot in the semi-finals of the 2022 Sasol League National playoffs on Wednesday at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane. 

Coach Maude Khumalo’s side progressed to the Last four after winning their group A matches with a tally of six goals and a clean sheet. 

TUKS gave a superb performance as they beat Central University of Technology from the Free State 3-0 to advance to the semi-finals of the national playoffs.

TS Galaxy Ladies were given the shock of their lives as they lost 3-2 to Limpopo’s Copperbelt Ladies after dominating the match with a 2-0 lead at the halftime break. 

Royal Wizards of the Northern Cape lost their second consecutive match when they went down 2-0 to NWU Tawana in the last match of Day 2. 

The Day 3 schedule on Thursday will confirm the teams that will book the three remaining spots in the semi-finals as Central University of Technology (Free State) host Sophakama FC from the Eastern Cape in the first match at 9am. 

NWU Tawana entertain Lindelani Ladies at 12h30 in what promises to be a scintillating match. 

Copperbelt Ladies will then play against Dangerous Heroes Ladies in the last match of the day before the semi-final draw is conducted.
