20 May 2022 Considered the current best referee on the African continent, South Africa’s Victor Gomes and his trusted lieutenant, Assistant Referee Zakhele Siwela, have been appointed as part of the officials that will officiate at the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Qatar from 21 November to 18 December 2022.
