24 March 2022 – The South African Football Association (SAFA) and sports betting operator, Hollywoodbets, will be honouring the outstanding performances of the 2021 Hollywoodbets Super League with a glamourous awards ceremony taking place at the Sandton Convention Centre, and also being broadcast live on SABC 1 from 8pm on Saturday, 26 March 2022.
With the South African National Women’s League having signed on its first-ever commercial partner, the Hollywoodbets Super League is now able to give female football players an opportunity to showcase their skills and give their audiences an opportunity to see their heroes in action.
The awards night promises to shine a spotlight on the incredible sporting talent in this hugely popular women’s league, as well as provide some fun and incredible rewards for the players, coaches and administrators.
With Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies FC winning the 2021 season and going unbeaten for a second season running, the evening holds much excitement for the team. The star players can also look forward to receiving prizes which will be awarded to respective winners on the night.
