3 December 2021 – The 2021 Hollywoodbets Super League season comes to an end this Sunday where Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies will be crowned champions after a gruelling marathon journey.

The defending champions had a hectic year in which they were also crowned COSAFA Champions and ultimately African Queens in a year they will look back with pride.

By all standards, Sundowns were again head-and-shoulders above their competitors and were full value of their season in which they are set to end unbeaten for the second year running.

They come up against Limpopo side Ma-Indies Ladies in a match that is purely academic having sealed the title with a number of matches still to play.

The trophy ceremony will take place after the final match on Sunday in a colourful atmosphere at Wits Sports Grounds. The action and trophy ceremony will be live on SABC 1 and Channel 124 on Openview from 15h00. Sunday’s event will mark one of the most successful women’s football season and sponsors HollywoodBets must be proud to have been headline sponsors of such a prestigious event.

In other matches of the day University of the Western Cape will be looking to cement their third place finish when they travel to Siwelele Park to face Bloemfontein Celtic Ladies while JVW Ladies will be looking to finish as high as possible when they entertain Richmond United at Sturrock Park.

First Touch Academy host Tsunami Queens at Seshego Stadium in Polokwane and Golden Ladies welcome Thunderbirds Ladies in Mahikeng.
