8 November 2021 – Hollywoodbets Super League clubs are jostling to improve their log standings as the season draws to a close.

With Mamelodi Sundowns all but sealed the league title with six matches still to be played, the attention now falls on the chasing pack to occupy highest positions as possible.

Tshwane University of Technology who have been consistent of late and are currently second on the log with 46 points after beating Richmond United 2-0 on Sunday afternoon look a good bet for the second position. The Pretoria side has been chalking some impressive results lately and their comfortable win over Richmond United is clear evidence of their intentions.

Meanwhile, University of Western Cape walloped Ma-Indies FC 3-0 to remain third on the log standings with 42 points meaning JVW Ladies will have to dig deep to try and finish in the top three. The star studded JVW currently sit on fourth position with 39 points but have a couple of games in hand. This past Saturday, they thrashed Coal City Wizards 4-1 to underscore their potential.

In the other matches of the weekend, Bloemfontein Celtic Ladies walked away with three points against First Touch Academy whom they pipped 1-0 while Thunderbirds Ladies continue to climb the log following their 2-0 victory over Tsunami Queens.

Durban Ladies and Golden Ladies shared the spoils following a tough 1-1 draw on Sunday afternoon in Durban.
