20 September 2021 – Hollywoodbets Super League log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies continued their good run after weeks of inaction in the national league.

The reigning champions came back with a bang after beating inform neighbours TUT Ladies 4-2 in a Tshwane derby on Saturday, 18 September 2021 at Groenkloof Stadium in Pretoria.

The log leaders remain unbeaten since the commencement of the women’s national league two years ago and at this rate, will take some beating.

Much as TUT put up a strong fight, they were ultimately outgunned by a much stronger and organised Sundowns Ladies side.

Thunderbirds Ladies edged Bloemfontein Celtic Ladies 2-1 at Jan Smuts Stadium in East London while the University of Johannesburg managed a 1-1 draw against Ma-Indies Ladies in Giyani.

Golden Ladies came out guns blazing against Coal City Wizards in Mahikeng to secure a much-needed 2-1 win against the Mpumalanga-based side.

Durban Ladies traveled to Seshego Stadium where they came unstuck against Touch Academy, narrowly losing 1-0 in a highly contested encounter.

Richmond United hosted Tsunami Queens at Kimberley Stadium on Sunday, 19 September 2021, and walked away 2-1 winners after coming back from a goal down in the first half.
