16 August 2021 – A total of 20 goals were scored during Week 12 of the Hollywoodbets Super League matches across the country. The goals galore came in a week when title sponsors Hollywoodbets launched their CSI campaign in celebration of Women’s Month.

Over the next three weeks, teams in the Hollywoodbets Super League will have the opportunity to win huge amounts of money that will be donated to a charity of their choice simply by the number of goals they score from 14 – 29 August 2021.

Hollywoodbets has ensured that clubs will donate R5000, as a starting point, for every goal scored during the league with the title sponsors adding another R1000 for every goal.

And with such an incentive, clubs responded with a glut of goals over the weekend scoring a total of 20 goals – 18 on Saturday and two on Sunday.

JVW Ladies set the tone when they routed Tsunami Queens 7-0 in Tsakane Stadium in the East Rand while champions Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies walloped Richmond United 5-1 in Pretoria. TUT Ladies beat Golden Ladies 3-0 on home turf as the goals continued to rain in on a chilly Saturday afternoon.

First Touch Academy and The University of Johannesburg shared the spoils when they drew 1-1 in Polokwane, while Durban Ladies and The University of the Western Cape were the only sides that failed to produce any goals in Durban.

The match between Bloemfontein Celtic Ladies and Coal City Wizards was called off due to heavy rains out in the Free State.

Giyani hosted the Sunday match between Ma-Indies Ladies and Thunderbirds Ladies which ended in a 1-1 draw.
