28 May 2021 – Week 6 of the Hollywoodbets Super League championship will see the top three teams on the table face stern test as they continue to fight for top honours.

The three face potentially tricky assignments that can easily spoil their plans.

Log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies will be looking to extend their lead at the top when they travel to Siwelele Park to face Bloemfontein Celtic Ladies. After a patchy start, Celtic Ladies seem to have found their feet and this clash might be the pick of the weekend. Clashes between Sundowns Ladies and Celtic Ladies have always provided some epic encounters and this one has all the ingredients of another thriller.

First Touch Academy, who have had a great run in the second half of the season, will be looking to continue their unbeaten run when they visit TUT Ladies, who ironically are yet to find their footing this season. TUT has been inconsistent in the opening five matches and were further pegged back last weekend against JVW.

JVW FC travel to the Eastern Cape this weekend to face Thunderbirds Ladies where they will be hoping to collect three points and maintain pressure on the log leaders.

Another newcomer to the super league, Ma-Indies FC will need to dig deep to secure a win in De Aar, where they will be hosted by Richmond United while Coal City Wizards, who seem to have finally found their groove, will have to weather the tricky University of the Western Cape storm in the Cape Town cauldron.

Bottom of the log Durban Ladies will travel to Johannesburg to play the University of Johannesburg.

These matches will be played on Saturday, 29 May 2021.

Tsunami Queens from the Free State will host North West-based Golden Ladies on Sunday 30 May 2021.

This match has been moved from Harrismith to Goble Park in Bethlehem, and will be broadcast live on SABC Sport and Channel 124 at 15h00.
