23 May 2021 – Head coach of the Sasol-sponsored Banyana Banyana, Desiree Ellis, has lauded Hollywoodbets for coming on board to assist with women’s football, saying it is a sign of good things to come.
Hollywoodbets were announced this past week as the new sponsor for the SAFA National Women’s League – now known as Hollywoodbets Super League.
Ellis says Sasol has long carried the burden alone, and with Hollywoodbets coming through, this will lead to greater improvement in women’s football.
The former Banyana Banyana captain is in Bloemfontein on her provincial visits where she conducts coaching workshops for Sasol League coaches and gets a chance to also watch some matches.
