5 October 2020 – It was another winning weekend for our Banyana Banyana players plying their trade overseas.
Ode Fulutudilu who plays for Aland United in Finland, saw her club being crowned Finnish Cup Champions after they beat TiPs 2-1 in a closely contested match.
Bambanani Mbane, Rhoda Mulaudzi and Lebo Ramalepe were also crowned Champions of the Belarus Women’s League with Dinamo Minsk in a season the reigning champions completely dominated.
Jermaine Seoposenwe and her team Braga won 2-0 against Clube de Albergaria, making it two wins out of two so far for her Portuguese side.
Thembi Kgatlana kicked off her official debut with SD Eibar in Spain with her side securing a 1-0 win over Real Betis in another tightly contested Spanish league encounter.
Linda Motlhalo’s Djurgarden side took 3 points from Vaxjo VFF who they pipped 2-1 win in the Swedish league.
Meanwhile, midfielder Kholosa Biyana joins the list of Banyana Banyana players moving abroad by signing a contract with Spanish side Real Sporting.
