26 February 2020 – Victor Gomes, Zakhele Siwela, Athenkosi Ndongeni and Eugene Mdluli have been appointed by the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) to be in charge of the 2021 Cameroon Africa Cup of Nations qualifier between Sudan and Ghana.

The Group C clash is scheduled to take place on Monday, 30 March 2020 at the El Hilal Stadium in Omdurman, Sudan – a day before Bafana Bafana takes on Sao Tome e Principe in the return leg, which will be played at Estadio Nacional 12 de Julho (Tuesday, 31 March).

Ghana, Sudan, South Africa and Sao Tome e Principe are in the same group for 2021 AFCON qualifiers.

This is the second CAF assignment in a row for the South African quartet.

Before heading to Sudan, they will be in Cairo for the CAF Confederations Cup fixture between Libya’s El Nasr and Morocco’s US Agadir on Sunday, 1 March.

Gomes will be the man in the middle, with Siwela as the first assistant and Ndongeni the second, while Mdluli will be the fourth official in both matches (Confederations Cup and AFCON).
