13 February 2020 Western Cape will be looking to dethrone Gauteng in the 2020 SAFA Futsal Interprovincial Tournament final when the two teams clash this afternoon (14h00) in Mangaung, Bloemfontein.

Western Cape will have to dig deep to beat Gauteng who will be playing in their fifth consecutive final, while looking for their third trophy.

The Interprovincial tournament began on Tuesday, 11 February 2020 with Gauteng, Mpumalanga, KwaZulu Natal, Eastern Cape and the North West were drawn in Group Am while the Northern Cape, Limpopo, Western Cape and Free State played in group B.

Gauteng finished top of the pack after winning all their matches, earning themselves a semi-finals spot against Group B runnners up Limpopo. The former won 8-2 to book their place in the final.

After topping their group in the other stream, Western Cape defeated Group A runners up Mpumalanga 5-1 in the other semi final.
