13 February 2020 – Bafana Bafana will play at the FNB Stadium in the first of back-to-back 2021 Cameroon Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sao Tome e Principe.
The Group C clash takes place on Friday, 27 March 2020.
Kick-off is at 19h30.
Tickets for this encounter will be sold at R40 each and will go on sale early next week – they will be available at Computicket, Checkers and Shoprite stores countrywide.
This will be Bafana Bafana’s third match of the qualifiers – they played Ghana away in the first match, going down 2-0 in Cape Coast. They followed that up with a 1-0 win over Sudan in the second fixture at Orlando Stadium.
After the FNB match, Bafana Bafana will travel to Sao Tome e Principe for the return leg, which will be played on Tuesday, 31 March.
The penultimate qualifier will see South Africa host Ghana on Saturday, 6 June. The venue for this encounter is still being deliberated.
Kick-off is at 15h00.
The last match in the qualifiers is away to Sudan in August/September this year.
Molefi Ntseki’s charges are second in Group C, three points behind Ghana who have collected six points.
Sudan is third and Sao Tome e Principe is bottom of the table.
Only the top two teams will qualify for the January/February 2021 24-nation African spectacle in Cameroon.
Algeria are the defending champions.
