10 February 2020 –There were no draws this past weekend in the SAFA National Womens League – with five of the six home teams registering wins.

Title-chasing Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies continued on their winning streak when they brushed aside a determined Bloemfontein Celtic Ladies 3-0 on Saturday, 8 February.

With the victory, Sundowns have stretched their lead to 12 points ahead of Celtic who are in third place.

Away in Durban, second-placed TUT showed no mercy away to Durban Ladies, thrashing them 6-1. This was the only match where the host team lost their game.

After 18 matches, TUT is now four points behind Sundowns, but the latter has a game in hand.

First Touch Academy kept their fourth place position after a 4-1 victory over Thunderbirds Ladies at the Seshego Stadium.

Western Cape won the battle of the Universities when they beat UJ 6-1 in Cape Town.

Coal City Wizards registered a 2-1 win over Tsunami Queens in Witbank.

Bottom of the table Richmond Ladies suffered their 14thloss of the season when they went down 4-2 to Golden Ladies at the Montshiwa Stadium in North West.
