11 February 2020– Head coach of the Sasol-sponsored Banyana Banyana, Desiree Ellis, says she is happy with the latest movements made by her players in a year where they will be trying to qualifying for the African Women’s Cup.

Ellis’ comments come after striker Jermaine Seoposenwe joined European club Real Betis in Spain.

Before her, there were other moves made by some Banyana Banyana players:

  • Kelso Peskin has signed for French side Toulouse FC Féminines
  • Linda Motlhalo is with Djurgarden in Sweden
  • Thembi Kgatlana has found a home with Benfica in Portugal

Other players plying their trade overseas are, among others, Refiloe Jane (Italy), Regina Mogolola (Serbia), Zanele Nhlapo (Albania), Rachel Sebati (Turkey), Leandra Smeda (Sweden) and Amogelang Motau (USA).
