6 December 2019 – South African U-20 Men’s National Team international Oswin Appolis scored a brace in Amajita’s 5-0 win over Mauritius to earn himself the Man of the Match award on Thursday, 5 December.
He says that match is now behind them and they have to focus on the upcoming clash against Madagascar in their second match of the 2019 COSAFA U-20 Men’s Championship taking place in Lusaka, Zambia.
Appolis was playing his seventh match for Amajita.
The other goals came from Sinenjongo Mkiva, Keagan Mitchell and Athenkosi Mcaba to begin the defence of their title in fine style.
