6 November 2019 – Banyana Banyana have arrived in Hong Kong on their way to the Active Resorts town of Fukuoka in Japan where they will play a friendly international match against the hosts on Sunday, 10 November 2019 at 05h45 SA time.

The South African Senior Women’s national team left OR Tambo International Airport on Tuesday, 5 November and landed at China’s former British colony around midday (06h00 SA time). The team will stay overnight at a Hong Kong city centre hotel and proceed to Japan on Thursday, 7 November where the team is expected to arrive in Fukuoka Japan at 15h25.

The team will hold their camp at the Active Resorts Fukuoka Japan for the duration of the camp.

The demanding schedule means Banyana Banyana will have little time to have adequate training time ahead of the friendly international match but coach Desiree Ellis said the trip was very critical and a worthwhile exercise.
