5 November 2019 – The 2019 Sasol League National Championships concluded its group stage matches on Thursday afternoon, after three days of exciting football.

The semi finalists for the 11TH Edition of the Sasol League National Championships were concluded after some interesting yet shocking results on the last day.

Limpopo’s Ma-Indies were the first team to qualify for the knockout stages after beating JVW 2-1 to finish top of group A, in the first match of the day.

Northern Cape’s Royal Wizards wrote their name in the history books, as the first team ever from the province to qualify for the semi finals of this prestigious tournament after beating Royal Queens 5-3, to finish top of group C.

Sunflower Women’s Football Club finished top of group B even though they drew 1-1 with Vasco Da Gama in the last match of the day.

The first semi-final will be played at 13h30, where either Royal Wizards or JVW will book their place in the final of the 2019 Sasol League National Championships final. The second semi final will see Sunflower take on Ma-Indies at 15h45.
