27 September 2019 – The South African U-17 Women’s National Team (Bantwana) will face Zambia in COSAFA U17 Women’s Championships semi final match this afternoon at Francois Xavier Stadium in Port Louis, Mauritius.

Head Coach Simphiwe Dludlu has opted for her star-studded starting eleven to face Zambia this afternoon.

Karbo Mohale will earn her fourth international cap between the goal posts, Luyanda Nduli and Ntaketo Nkhuna return to the starting line up at left back and centre back respectively.

Philisani Hlela will continue her excellent runs from the right back position with solid Shakira O’Malley playing in centre back.

Nelly Gamede, who was voted player of the match in the encounter against Madagascar, retains her place in defensive midfield, while Tiyana Carollissen returns to right wing.

Nabeelah Galant has been assigned to the left wing and will be looking to swing in crosses to  Sonika Mzingeli and Captain Jessica Wade who returns to the starting eleven after she was rested in the last match.

Oyisa Marhazi will play the lone striker upfront.
