2 September 2019 – Head coach of the Sasol-sponsored Banyana Banyana Desiree Ellis is confident that her side will overcome Botswana when they meet for the second leg second round clash of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics qualifier at Orlando Stadium in Soweto.

The two nations meet on Tuesday, September 2019.

Kickoff is at 2019 and entry is free.

South Africa and Botswana played to a goalless draw in the first leg in Gaborone on Friday, 30 August 2019.

Ellis says several factors contributed to the result, but believes they have what it takes to emerge victorious for the return fixture.

The winner will face Zambia in the third round of the qualifiers.
