12 August 2019 – President of the South African Football Association (SAFA), Dr Danny Jordaan heaped praise on Banyana Banyana and their coach, Desiree Ellis for successfully defending their COSAFA Cup title for a third time in a row.
Banyana Banyana edged Zambia 1-0 in the tightly contested final.
