10 August 2019 – Captain of the Sasol-sponsored Banyana Banyana Refiloe Jane, says despite winning the last two editions (2017 & 2018) of the COSAFA Women’s Championship, they still have the drive to go for more.
South Africa will contest the final of the 2019 competition against Zambia, who will be making their maiden appearance in the final, on Sunday, 12 August 2019 at Wolfson Stadium in Port Elizabeth
Kickoff is at 14h00.
Jane led the team in Zimbabwe when Banyana Banyana lifted the trophy and was also in Port Elizabeth when they defended their title. Now, with the absence of regular captain Janine van Wyk, who is out injured, Jane would like to see her side grab gold for the third time in a row.
