9 August 2019 – Banyana Banyana defender Lebohang Ramalepe says they need the same mentality they had in the first match of the 2019 COSAFA Women’s Championship to defeat Zambia, whom they meet in the final on Sunday, 12 August.
Ramalepe has been ever-present in South Africa’s campaign in this tournament as she now has two medals from the 2017 and 2018 victories – and she is now eager for the third in a row.
The Banyana Banyana second vice captain has also played every match of the 2019 edition.
Zambia is in the final for the first time.
