31 July 2019 – Banyana Banyana kick off their COSAFA Cup title defence this afternoon against islanders, Comoros at the Wolfson Stadium at 15h30.
The Sasol-sponsored team come into the clash at the back of a maiden FIFA World Cup appearance in France where they put up a gutsy performance against the world’s best.
The U20 Women’s National team will also be in action in Port Elizabeth in the first ever COSAFA U20 Women’s Championship. The U20 side will be led by former Banyana Banyana defender, Simphiwe Dludlu who also led the U17 Girls to their first ever World Cup appearance last year.
