30 July 2019 – Rising star within the referees’ set-up, Eugene Mdluli has been allocated to handle two CAF club assignments in the month of August.

First, Mdluli will be off to Mauritius to handle the CAF Confederations Cup match between Bolton City Youth Club versus Botswana’s Jwaneng Galaxy FC at Curepipe’s New George V Stadium (kick off 15h00) before heading to Angola on 24 August.

Here (in Angola), he will handle the CAF Champions League game between Club Desportivo de Agosto against Zanzibar’s KMKM SC. The match will be played at Luanda’s Estadio 11 de Novembro and will kick off at 17h00.

In the first match in Mauritius, Mdluli will be assisted by Khamusi Razwimisani and Emmanuel de Jani who will be the first and second assistant referees respectively. Veteran Victor Gomes will be the fourth official.

In the second game in Luanda, Mdluli will work with Zakhele Siwela (First Assistant) and Kgara Mokoena (Second Assistant) while Gomes will once again be the fourth official.
