30 July 2019 – The CHAN team arrived back from Lesotho on Monday and coach David Notoane and his team immediately got down to serious business with the coach saying his main focus is tightening areas of concern ahead of Sunday, 4 August return game against the Mountain Kingdom.

The squad comprising mostly youngsters, lost 3-2 in the first leg last Sunday at a packed Setsoto Stadium in Maseru and according to Notoane, the team will be working out to overturn that deficit.

The return game will be played at Dobsonville Stadium; kicks off at 15h00 and entrance is free of charge.

One area which Notoane said he will work flat out to improve is the strike force and has already secured the services of attacking winger Keletso Makgalwa and centre forward Thabang Sibanyoni from Mamelodi Sundowns. Notoane described Sibanyoni as a typical traditional centre forward as the watchword will be to search for goals.

“In the return leg, we will attack, attack and attack,” he said.

The team will train today at UJ Grounds and tomorrow will play a practice match against Jomo Cosmos at Dobsonville Stadium as the coaching staff tries final combinations.

Apart from the two attacking players, Notoane said he will be adding a few more available new faces to beef up his squad.
