11 July 2019 – Bafana Bafana head coach, Stuart Baxter gave his reaction to the team’s narrow 2-1 defeat at the hands of Nigeria on Wednesday, 10 July at the Cairo International Stadium. After coming back from a goal down to level matters thanks to a Bongani Zungu header in the second half, a lapse of concentration in the dying minutes saw Nigeria reclaiming the lead and advance to the semi-finals.
