Bafana Bafana will get down to polishing their plans on Saturday after taking the much needed break on Friday, 21 June 2019 to allow players a breather and to recharge the batteries ahead of the titanic clash with Ivory Coast this coming Monday.

After three gruelling weeks of preparations, which has seen the team pitch tents in Johannesburg, Dubai and here in Cairo, South Africa Men’s Senior National team take on the west Africans in their Group D AFCON opener hoping to start with a bang.

Bafana Bafana’s next match will be on 28 June against Namibia and Morocco on 1 July 2019.

The team has been receiving good luck messages from people of all walks.

Among the high profile individuals in Cairo, Egypt to give the boys a lift are the Minister of Sport, Nathi Mthethwa and Mamelodi Sundowns owner Patrice Motsepe.

The mining mogul (Motsepe) arrived in Cairo on Friday, aboard his private jet and predicted that Bafana Bafana will have a good tournament.

LaLiga’s director of Africa, Antonio Barradas is also here to give his support.
