19 June 2019 – The South African Football Association (SAFA), has announced its next coaching course. The July and August coaching course calendar sees the SAFA C License making a return for coaches who possess an official SAFA D License Coaching qualification.

Since the beginning of this year, the Association has continued making strides towards training and accrediting young and aspiring coaches around the country.

Before the start of the SAFA C License courses, SAFA Ekurhuleni will be conducting their SAFA D License from 6 to 20 July before kicking off the SAFA C License course from 27 July to 25 August. SAFA Westrand will then hold their SAFA C License course on 27 July to 25 August for aspiring coaches in the West Rand of Johannesburg.

The Western Cape Rygate LFA in Cape Town holds their version of the C License course on 25 July until 10 August while SAFA Soweto conclude the month of August with their leg of the course from 16 to 25 August.

SAFA’s Head of Coaching Education, Mr Frans Mogashoa said the Association would continue working hard in ensuring that aspiring coaches were well trained and accredited.

“Having qualified coaches across different levels of football is highly important. We need to do everything possible to ensure that coaches, both male and female are equipped with the necessary tools and qualifications to develop our players” said Mogashoa.
