15 May 2019 – TUKS FC continue their dominance and fine form in the early stages of the Gauteng Sasol League. The Tshwane based side are looking at clinching the title after their impressive performance last season.

Just like some of the other Gauteng clubs, Tuks played their seventh fixture this past weekend where they swept away Springs Home Sweepers 7-0 in their own backyard to register their seventh win in as many games.

Second to Tuks is Luso Africa who were also in action this past weekend. Luso played host to Pull Together whom they pulled apart with a 6-1 thrashing to maintain their title chase. The other match that took place on Sunday was between hosts Nicko Taurus and visitors Palace Super Falcons which went 4-2 in favour of Taurus.

Super Falcons will be hoping to redeem themselves and start picking up points starting this weekend against Lusaka Ladies at home. Falcons have played six matches, losing all of them and as a result, find themselves rooted at the bottom half of the Gauteng table, a situation that is very much new to them.

More Sasol League fixtures are taking place across the country and the fans are urged to make their way to the various fixtures which can be found on MYSAFA.net and support women’s football.
