13 May 2019 – The 2018/19 season of the Vhembe SAB League Stream H took yet another step towards the finishing line on Sunday with a number of exciting fixtures being played across the Musina Local Municipality.

The reigning champions, Berea FC welcomed fellow title contenders, Bale United at the Berea Resort Ground were they were yet to taste defeat this season. Two goals in the first half from Lavhelesani Marema and Musiiwa Luvha fired Bale to a 2-0 lead before Christopher Mundalamo pulled one back for the host on the stroke of halftime.

Berea kept knocking Bale’s door in the second half for an equaliser but the visitors stood up to the test and collected the valuable three points with a 2-1 victory.

Musina All Stars showed character to score twice in the final 15 minutes to force a 2-2 draw against fifth-placed Musina United in the Musina Derby.

It was a rare disappointing display for All Stars who were shambolic in defence throughout the 90 minutes and could have conceded more had United capitalized on All Stars’ discomforts at the back.

The result saw All Stars sliding to fourth on the standings, swapping places with Bale United who ascended to third.

Rinae Mokgonyana left it till late for Annel Real Vikings, his solitary goal against Masisi Young Stars deep into the second half sealed all the three points for Ambition Mokwena’s side and propelled them to top of the league table.

With the top two teams, Berea and Real Vikings only separated by a mere two points going into the final round, the pair will meet on the final day of the season during the Niani Derby with the winner set for a place in the 2019 Champ of Champs.

Tshenzhelani Diiteleni kept their slim survival hopes alive by beating Igwe FC 1-0 at home to go one place up to 15th. They will have to win their last game against Folovhodwe Stone Breakers and hope Muraluwe Shining Stars loses all their remaining two games.
