9 May 2019– South African national Under-20 midfield sensation Simphiwe Sinethemba Ncamani says playing well and progressing in the u20 FIFA World Cup youth tournament has the potential of helping him to realise his childhood dream of securing a move abroad.

The realisation of making it to the lucrative European market is a key drive of the soft spoken National First Division (NFD) outfits TS Sporting’s star.

Speaking after training, Ncamani said he was confident that Amajita will make it to the group stages of the FIFA youth tournament.

“I have been working hard at training and willing to be part of the squad as my contribution to the squad,” Ncamani added.

The 19-year old box-to-box midfielder remains positive that he will make the cut for the final 21-man squad for the event.

The 26-man provisional squad currently in training for the tournament will be trimmed to 21 as per FIFA requirements. The talismanic Ncamani added that Amajita is not in this tournament to add numbers but to compete effectively and give a good account of South African football.

Asked which of the European footballing nation he would fancy himself playing in, the utility midfielder says he would prefer playing in the France Ligue 1.

He said the professional approach of the French Academies in developing African players makes him want to start there.

Ncamani added that he would like to complete his Matric education which he has kept on hold because of his football career. He admitted football career can be short and it is therefore important for young players to embark on education so that when their careers come to an end, they can have something to fall back on.
