7 May 2019 – Tuks FC continued their impressive start to the Gauteng Sasol Women’s League as they comfortably marched to their sixth straight victory of the season this past weekend.

The Tshwane based side easily brushed off Wits University at home with a 3-1 scoreline to go three points clear at the top of the table with JVW FC, Luso Africa and Hallelujah Zebra Force all on 15 points as the season warms up.

JVW had a good outing on Saturday when they travelled to the Vaal to meet VUT FC where they comfortably registered a 6-0 win while Croesus put Hallelujah Zebra Force to the sword with a 4-0 thrashing.

Soweto Fabulous will be disappointed with their 1-0 loss to Luso Africa following their good start to the season. The Soweto ladies have now lost their second match of the season and have fallen out of the top eight bracket of the table.

Looking ahead of this weekend’s fixtures, Soweto Fabulous have a tough task ahead of them when they travel to Bedfordview to face the on-form JVW FC while Springs Home Sweepers will be targeting an upset when they welcome log leaders, Tuks.

Another exciting fixture to look out for will definitely be Croesus taking on the wounded Wits who are looking at getting back to winning ways.
