8 March 2019 – The Ethics Committee of the South African Football Association (SAFA) has approved the attached integrity declaration which is recommended for use as an addendum to the contract entered into by players and clubs in South African leagues.

The declaration deals mainly with prevention of match fixing, fair play and good ethical conduct.

Speaking on behalf of the Association’s Ethics Committee, SAFA Committee Chairman, Adv Simphiwe Xaba said similar declarations have been finalized for match officials, coaches and players of national teams with a view to ensure that the principles contained therein cascade across all forms of participation in football in the country.

SAFA urges all club’s to make use of this integrity declaration form as part of the Association’s undying efforts of football development.
