14 February 2019 – Things are not looking good for coach Mashudu Phalanndwa at Anel Real Vikings with his team’s performances still having the same deficiencies that have been visible throughout the season in the Vhembe SAB League Stream H.

Vikings snatched a point against their cross-town and title contending rivals Berea on Saturday, 9 February in a 1-1 draw, but it was another timid performance from the club’s defence.

Real Vikings are slowly losing grip of the title race. The Niani-based giants have drawn two of their last two games, the most recent of which was an embarrassing 2-2 draw against rock-bottom Maramanzhi Pull Together.

Real Vikings have descended the league table and now sit fourth on the league table. League leaders Bale United still has a cushion of nine points over their rivals.

The 2018/2019 season has not been kind for Tshisimani. They are currently 12th on the table and it seems all too likely that they will be relegated this season should their dismal form persist.

It will take a humungous effort from Tshisimani to get a positive result against Anel. However, they will be pretty hopeful of getting one considering Anel’s results against Maramanzhi.

The visitors will have to find a way to sustain Anel’s attack which is the most prolific in the division and spearheaded by star forward and Captain Riphuluse Phaswana.
