23 January 2019 – Banyana Banyana held Sweden to a goalless draw at the Cape Town Stadium on Tuesday, 22 January 2019. This was in an international friendly match named the Winnie Mandela International Challenge. The match was used by both teams to prepare for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France in June.
