30 November 2018 – Sasol-sponsored Banyana Banyana are just one match away from rewriting the history books as they are on the brink of winning the Women’s AFCON tournament for the first time, adding to the history-making first time qualification for the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

South Africa takes on Nigeria in the final of the 2018 Women’s AFCON on Saturday, 1 December at the Accra Sports Stadium in Ghana.

Kickoff is at 16h00 local time (18h00 SA Time).

Seoposenwe and goalkeeper Kaylin Swart also share another history-making feat as the only two South African players to have helped two different national teams qualify for a world cup – they were part of the 2010 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup in Trinidad and Tobago.
