26 October 2018 – The battle for promotion to the National First Division continues in the Gauteng edition of the ABC Motsepe League this weekend. After occupying the top spot in the opening weeks of the season, Baberwa FC were toppled off the number one spot by Alexandra United after hammering cross-town rivals Alexandra Black Aces 4-0.

Things are about to get interesting this weekend with some mouth-watering fixtures in the highly unpredictable Gauteng ABC Motsepe League.

Dube Continental, who have shown great improvement from last season’s poor showing have climbed into the top half of the table. They face Leruma United this at home where they will be targeting maximum points which could see them move to fourth on the log.

The red-hot Pele Pele are up against bottom placed FC Ma-Lions in what should be an easy walk in the park for them. Ma-Lion are rooted at the bottom with a single win from seven matches.

The rich in history Swallows FC are working hard to bring back the glory days. Things have been going well so far for the Soweto based club who are third on the log. They welcome fourth placed JDR Stars in what should be a tough encounter for the hosts.
