15 September 2018 – Jermaine Seoposenwe, striker of the Sasol-sponsored Banyana Banyana, is elated to have scored the crucial goal in the 2018 COSAFA Women’s Championship clash against Botswana. Seoposenwe admitted she was getting a bit frustrated after several attempts at goal yielded no results, but says patience was key as they fought to the last second. She found the winner in referee’s optional time to see South Africa to topple Botswana at the top of Group A. Banyana Banyana is now on six points, followed by Botswana and Malawi on three points each, while Madagascar is yet to collect points. Here’s what Seoposenwe had to say.
