“We are challenging all South Africans to give our senior national women’s team the support they deserve during the 2018 COSAFA Women’s Championship.  By each person tweeting just one message of support for the team, we can show them that the nation is behind them during the tournament.  After their recent performances, they deserve nothing less.  Let’s make Banyana Banyana the biggest story in South Africa over the coming weeks,” commented Nozipho Mbatha, Sasol Group Brand Marketing Manager.

During the tournament, the team will be keeping tabs on the hashtag, using the public’s messages for motivation. They will also will be wearing #Limitless shoe laces during their COSAFA games as a reminder of this support. #Limitless shoe laces are worn as a symbol of the strong and powerful women  and to show the wearer’s support for women’s football.

For those in PE, make sure to get to the Banyana Banyana games where laces will be given to those supporting the team.

“We are immensely proud of Banyana Banyana’s growth over the past years. We have full belief in their abilities and in the dream of qualification for next year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup in France.  They however need the country’s support – to know the whole of South Africa is behind them will give them an extra boost in achieving their goals.  We thus urge all of South Africa send them your messages of motivation using #Limitless,” added SAFA CEO Dennis Mumble.
